Mini-Giants
How did Brandon Belt last to the 5th round of the 2009 draft? A guy who plays in the high minors his first professional season and hits .352, with a .455 on-base percentage and a .620 SLG does not have recognizable enough talent to go in the first round?
I checked his college numbers and the skills were there.
If any team out there wants to win, give me a job.
Others:
Charlie Culberson swings too much, strikes out too much, and doesn't hit the ball hard enough, so he's not a good prospect.
Zachary Wheeler got a lot of strikeouts in Augusta but also a lot of walks, so don't get too excited.
