these are good numbers. he started to hit home runs last year and he played in triple-a. at age 21. that's sdg. so damn good. no, that's good. they finally got the centerfielder they've been looking for. a little more patience would be nice. the rest should take care of itself. by which i mean hard work. lots of hard work.

josh fields has a lot of power. he also has decent patience. the contact is a little troubling. i still think he'll make it. but he'll have some trouble.

lance broadway is a curveballer with good control. not too exciting, but probably will pitch in the show.

kyle mcculloch has i don't know what he has. he has a changeup. maybe he'll get it together. it doesn't look like it. i always root for the changeup guys though.

a knuckleballer! the numbers look ordinary but that's cause he's a knuckleballer. home run rates are good. he's got a good chance to be a knuckleballer.

knuckleballers are great because they make everyone crappy. they turn the game into a bouncy-ball funfest.

bouncy-ball funfest. i actually wrote that. no, i think charlie's gonna make it.

Career Batting Statistics for Aaron Cunningham:

cunningham did well in 2006. he had good patience, ok contact, and good power. with hard work, he can go a step at a time: a-ball, double-a, triple-a, and get there.

adam is apparently a sinkerballer. he has low strikeout rates, but limits home runs. unfortunately, he doesn't have enough to make it.

Career Pitching Statistics for Lucas Harrell:

another home-run limiter. control is bad though. it ain't gonna happen.

matt long is playing baseball in the minor leagues and he will continue to. baseball is fun.

Career Batting Statistics for Chris Carter:

chris carter has lots of power but he's bad at making contact. he's going to have to make vast improvements if he wants to make it.

the sox also have some pitchers they got in trades. john danks they got from the rangers. we'll do him when we do the rangers. gio gonzales they got from the phillies.

Career Pitching Statistics for Giovany Gonzalez:

gio gonzalez is a lefty curveballer. so that's good. but his control is bad. so that's bad. still, the lefty thing. pitching in the major leagues is in his future.

in addition, we're gonna talk about nick masset, who is on kevin goldstein's list.

2006 Texas MLB 24 Tex MLB 8.2 9 0 2 4 .054 .886 .000 4.15

nick masset is another low-home-run, low-strikeout sinkerballer. those are always good to have. he could be useful.

so that's the white sox. overall, it's not so good. they got ryan sweeney, and josh fields should be worth something, but there's no difference makers here. the future is grim.
