huber has patience, which is a good indicator for improvement. he's gonna need some improvement to be effective in the bigs. he has trouble with contact. he has power, though.

chris lubanski had 72 extra-base hits in a hitter's park. that's good, but not great, power. the question is can he develop contact.

donnie murphy has shown balanced hitting skills. combine that with the fact that he plays middle infield, and he's a solid prospect.

shane costa makes great contact. he just needs a little power.

the royals have one great prospect, alex gordon, one good prospect, billy butler, and a lot of decent prospects. most of the guys on the list have legitimate shots at the majors. but it doesn't matter. there's no way they'll be good enough to contend anywhere in the foreseeable future.
